Kelsey is a self-employed communications consultant with over 10 years of experience in PR, social media, content writing, SEO, and photography. As a new Vermonter, she is excited to get to know Vermont's creative community through serving on the AIGA Board.

Treasurer & Development Chair (1 year term)
Multidisciplinary designer with a passion for the unknown.

Emily Corley (she/her)

Communications Chair (2 year term)
Emily is a Vermont-based marketer and builder of effective teams, and currently leads Marketing at Darn Tough Vermont. She's obsessed with continuous learning, emotional intelligence, and bright colors.

Jeremy Beaudry (he/him)

MEMBERSHIP Chair (2 year term)
Jeremy Beaudry is a writer, musician, artist, and designer. He currently leads design and strategy at hiCOlab, a design and innovation lab embedded in The University of Vermont Health Network.

Isa DeMarco (they/them)

At-Large (2 year term)
Isa Demarco is an interdisciplinary designer with an affinity for systems thinking. A self-identified intersectional environmentalist, Isa strives to connect the healing of people with the healing of the planet.  

Dana Howe (she/her)

At-Large (2 year term)
Dana Howe is a communications professional specializing in science and health topics. She is currently the Communication Lead for Vaccinate Your Family, a national nonprofit focused on community-centered approaches to raising vaccination rates.

Burlington Beer Company

Burlington Beer Company is an independent craft brewery that opened in May 2014. With over 25+ house beers on tap, thoughtfully crafted, locally sourced food and seasonal specials, along with cocktails, wine, cider, and a variety of guest taps, BBCO is the perfect space to host events large or small. Located at 180 Flynn Avenue in the historic Southend of Burlington, Vermont in a 120-year-old brick building, they strive to find a balance between going too far and staying rooted in tradition. Not only are their cans and brand thoughtfully designed, but they also love to support the local creative community here in Vermont.



History

The American Institute
of Graphic Arts

1914–present
The American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) is a professional organization for design. Its members practice all forms of communication design, including graphic design, typography, interaction design, user experience, branding, and identity. The organization's aim is to be the standard bearer for professional ethics and practices for the design profession.

Founded in 1914, AIGA, by Fred Goudy, Alfred Stieglitz, W. A. Dwiggins and others who shared a commitment and a passion in the nobility of a profession that had not yet been named: “the purposeful arrangement of text and images to communicate more effectively, with dignity, elegance and impact; and accomplished with high expectations for the craft of production.”


The AIGA Vermont Chapter was founded in 2009.
